That alone is a large part of it, yes.
Suddenly gaining a lifetime of memories is disorienting, even if much of it fades shortly after.
But they also tend to be snippets of something significant.
It's not just a day in the life of another person. It's the day they fought an invading army or staged a mutiny or fell in love.


[One of those is more intense for Loki personally than the others, but the point remains.]
