they've disappeared without a trace

nobody has been publicly reprimanded as far as i know
but i wasn't one of the first here
so maybe it happened before i showed up

or maybe not

most of the wardens i knew that left didn't do anything wrong

they were just quiet for a while
then gone

i suppose the lesson here is to keep an eye on the people you want to hang around
because they might just go poof

No. I can't quit for that reason.
And I'm guessing inmates don't get any choice.

That's not very encouraging.

the inmates i've spoken to get a chance to live again
i think that's a pretty big choice

maybe not
but i think the fact that it isn't easy is comforting in its own way
change is a process after all :)

one of the hardest parts about being here is being away from your support system
for wardens and inmates both i think

I don't know that any wardens have been "kicked off" - a couple have left without a word, but I'd assume if they were kicked out of the program we would've been told, if only to set the example of what not to do.

Loki has been reprimanded, but not demoted.

Why? Worried about yourself, or someone else?

Let me guess, you signed up thinking this would be relatively easy, and now you're feeling in over your head?

I don't think anything I end up in is easy.

But I do which it was a little less difficult, if that makes sense.

Not on this ship. But there were wardens who were demoted on the last ship I was on.
And plenty of people who disappeared without warning, both warden and inmate.
But none that were punished by being sent away, to my knowledge.
Of course, the Navarch's peer on that ship was far less forthcoming about how he ran things.

I mean, if we're speaking in hypothetical reasons I'm sure there are reasons someone might do it. But that doesn't mean it was me. He's not even my inmate this month anyway.

And it is about something. It's about a question I had. As a warden.
