it's not like there's a lot to do around here other than sit around and wonder how long i actually have to spend here, i guess.

besides that, i was dead, and they brought me back. if they were using any magic that i was familiar with to do this, you'd basically be undead. so you wouldn't age. but you wouldn't technically be alive, either. i don't know how whatever it is they use works.

because i was dead? just because i'm alive again doesn't mean i'm aging. it doesn't even technically mean i'm alive. it depends on their methods of resurrection, which i know is a futile thing to question.

you can do a lot with magic, but a full, complete resurrection of someone is a pipe dream.

mostly necromancy. but i also know some alchemy and was learning some gravity spells before i died. still read up on them in the library, even if i can't practice, but they limit me on what i can read.

i guess so. can't do necromancy on myself, but i wouldn't want to be a zombie anyway. trust me, i know, i've made plenty.

but that's what makes me wonder all the time about what *has* been done to those of us who've died. if it's magic, it's beyond anything the other mages back home couldn't only dream about.
