the one thing i thought i could do here is help my inmates
protect them
help them work through trauma they came with

if we can't protect anyone from being forcibly subjected to infinitely more damaging trauma than they had before they came
then what is the point of any of us wardens being here at all

people with this much power and resources aren't to be trusted. the same goes where i'm from, and i suspect anywhere in the universe. they end up thinking they know what's best and you're powerless to stop them from enacting whatever the fuck they want. you mean nothing to them.
