Hello. I've met quite a few of you over the past month, but to those who haven't had a proper introduction yet, my name is Claire Fraser.

I thought I'd make it public knowledge that, as the resident doctor on board, if anyone has any medical concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me. This applies to wardens and inmates alike and discretion will be upheld at all times.

Mind you, this is not an invitation to bloody any noses, get into brawls, or try and get a peek at the locked cabinets in the infirmary.

Just called me a bitch. [Not the worst offense. Witch is usually what lands her in hot water. However--]

I'm not happy with a "top ranking assassin" that shows no remorse for engaging in a brawl that spilled blood, wants to make it "more fun" next time, and has no reservations in disrespecting a warden. I'm being very kind to someone I'd be afraid to be left alone in a room with.

You know what being an inmate's like, when it's bad? You have to strip yourself down to nothing. You have to dig and dig until you get to the core of yourself and then present whatever the fuck you find there, and it's always ugly, to someone who may not notice or care.

I don't know if it's fair to ask that of you. I used to think yes.

Anyway. I didn't realize he scared you. Thanks for telling me.

It's not the same as this place, but my husband has been an inmate for an alarmingly large portion of his life. I've seen what it can do to a person.

I would simply not like to be murdered so soon.

Even the Brits can feel human emotion.
