[ Rhys is already an irritable guy, and of he isn't getting a good nights sleep and his basic creature comforts he's even quicker to be a snippy asshole. He must be at a breaking point or something, cause he's really Feeling It Mr. Krabs this week.

The video clicks on, camera focusing on Rhys's face, behind him the sleeping pods from the dorm that he hasn't been lucky enough to escape for the month. ]

So hey, I've been really, really patient with this whole situation. Waaaay more reasonable than anyone deserves, but I think it's about time I put this out there:

Lack of privacy? Of fresh air- real or simulated? Of access to the infirmary, gym, or spa if there even is one on this ship- It's an infringement on human rights.

That's right, I'm suing! And all of you should too. Who's with me?

[ Rhys takes the cloth, pressing it just under his nostrils to catch the blood without touching anything. The swellings begun, turning his nose and undereye area a blotchy red.

He'll shoot William one last betrayed glare before following after Claire. ]

It's all on record right? I didn't start that.

[If he allows it, she'll put a hand on his arm to steer him along.]

Aggressive. Maybe William should see to it that you're not left in the dormitory with him.

[ He lets her guide him, wanting to be comforted in this moment of hardship the big baby. ]

No kidding...This wouldn't have happened on the other ship y'know? I had protection there. I thought that was a wardens job here but jokes on me I guess.

At least it's just a broken nose and nothing else.

[Maybe two broken noses, once James is done? Who knows. Maybe William will get involved and get his nose broken in the crossfire. Tragic.

Once at the infirmary, Claire has him take a seat, and gets him an ice pack.]

How's the bleeding?

That's pretty bad in my books.

[ His face is A. his brand and B. the comment Fiona made once about how "permanently damaged" he was from head trauma stuck with him, even if he dismissed her at the time.

He doesn't make much of a fuss as he's lead into the infirmary and sits, sniffing as he finally moves the cloth away from his face. ]

It's- gah! It's still going.

Bleeding like a stuck pig.

[That's how you know it's actually broken! Claire isn't shy about making a grab for his hand to try and show him--]

Pinch here, but not too hard. Don't hurt yourself. It'll help slow the bleeding, and then we'll put some ice on you. It doesn't look crooked.

[ Rhys exaggerates his pout at her comment before bracing himself to do as she asks, sucking in through his teeth as he pinches (with additional ah-ah-ah-ah-ah sounds) ]

Silver linings right? Hah. Do...do you think it's going to heal okay?

[ Asked with complete earnesty, you'd think he was asking about something far more grave, but he really does care about his appearance, and right now he's not looking too hot. Face smeared with blood and faint bruises beginning to bloom under his eyes. ]

I think you'll only look like hell for a week.

[Poor thing. Claire will toss him a bone.]

Back to handsome before you know it.

[They'll just not let him look at himself in the mirror right away. Claire does at least try to clean up some of the blood that's within easy reach without jostling his hold on his nose.]

Never had a broken nose before?

[Translation: has no one ever punched you, before? Wow.]

[ Despite all his posturing and arrogance, Rhys is real easy when it comes to appealing to his looks and ego and he responds like a dumb puppydog at her mention of him being handsome, instantly perking up some.

It means he's nice and patient while she tends to him and doesn't make a fuss or any scathing remarks. ]

Uhhhh hah, well, it's never been broken. Bled, yes but no impromptu rhinoplasty.

[ Hahaa.. because no bump or crookedness right? Ha.... ]

No rhinoplasty. You'll be fine, but I don't recommend you revisiting the one that got you here in the first place. You shouldn't be in the dorms.

[ Oh my god he feels so validated right now. ]

The only reason I'm still stuck in there is some stupid challenge of Williams', like he's making some kind of bet and me getting a good nights sleep is the prize.

[Claire frowns as she dabs some blood that got on his neck. That poor shirt. But she's frowning more at William than the mess.]

[ He tilts his head as she does, letting out a long sigh (but it's through his mouth so his lips go pbpbpbpbpbpbp) most of that rush of bitter wind gone from his sails. At this point he's just tired. ]

[ And he means it? He's not always an ungreatful jackass. ]

[He gets a small smile from Claire. It'd probably be a full smile if the prospect of talking to William didn't drain the happiness from her soul.]
