I think introductions are in order. My name is Lucifer Morningstar, and I'm a new warden here. For those that recognize my name, yes, I'm probably who you think I am, no, it's not a mistake, and no, I'm not here to kill, maim, torture or eat anyone's soul.

I don't think a soul would have much nutritional value.

No, I've never had horns. Or a tail, for that matter. I'm not sure entirely why - maybe my subconscious just knew that they aren't very scary.

I’m not sure it’s irony that artists have depicted me in completely absurd ways over the centuries, but it is what it is. I don’t even know who first came up with the horns, they just took it and ran with it.

And what should I call you? I presume you’re a fellow warden, since you haven’t yelled about being imprisoned or threatened to kill me yet.
