I got reassurances. I don't know which ones are true, but I don't expect it to be more honest with you either.

I will say that there are so many different realities the ship is in contact with that it seems unlikely it wouldn't make use of the best equipment possible.

Sarcasm aside, and assuming that they put all of their budget into safety - even people trying their best and using the best resources they can still die to unforeseen things all the time. Just look at any attempt to contain a natural disaster using technology. It's driving me insane that they won't at least tell us what to do if there IS a fire, or if there IS an emergency with the oxygen.
