I think introductions are in order. My name is Lucifer Morningstar, and I'm a new warden here. For those that recognize my name, yes, I'm probably who you think I am, no, it's not a mistake, and no, I'm not here to kill, maim, torture or eat anyone's soul.

I don't think a soul would have much nutritional value.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here, and I'm used to getting lots of questions, so ask away.

What would the over-under be on getting a piano in here do you suppose? Just curious. It's been ages since I've been able to play, and the minibar makes me nostalgic.

And not much of one - I didn't need an incentive to come here, though Navarch insisted I name one. Helping lost souls redeem themselves is my calling. I was already doing it back home.

Correct! I thought the change of scenery would be refreshing and offer new and interesting challenges. Also, in Hell, I haven't got any colleagues to consult and commiserate with.

Frankly, it doesn't much matter to me whether you believe I'm actually the Devil or not. Some humans prefer to consider me a metaphorical Devil, but if you require proof, I can provide it - I'd rather do it in person, though - it's a bit awkward on these devices.

What's important is that you believe I'm here for the same reason you are - to help people. I enjoy a good joke now and then, but I take my job quite seriously, and I imagine this will be much easier if my fellow wardens believe that. So if there's anything I can do to alleviate your concerns, name it.
