[ Rhys is already an irritable guy, and of he isn't getting a good nights sleep and his basic creature comforts he's even quicker to be a snippy asshole. He must be at a breaking point or something, cause he's really Feeling It Mr. Krabs this week.

The video clicks on, camera focusing on Rhys's face, behind him the sleeping pods from the dorm that he hasn't been lucky enough to escape for the month. ]

So hey, I've been really, really patient with this whole situation. Waaaay more reasonable than anyone deserves, but I think it's about time I put this out there:

Lack of privacy? Of fresh air- real or simulated? Of access to the infirmary, gym, or spa if there even is one on this ship- It's an infringement on human rights.

[Travis sits up, focused on brandishing an arm at Rhys and totally banging his head on the roof of his pod in the process:]

[Travis sees Rhys' attention is split, but he can't exactly throw a punch inside his pod. He tosses his own communicator aside. The video settles on the roof of Travis's pod. It is plain. He has not yet had time to decorate :(]

If it's a private affair then don't post it publicly!

[He ejects himself from the pod to tackle Rhys.]

[ Rhys is not a fighter at the best of times, he may have a cool robo-arm but he was a pencil jockey for the better part of 8 years. He tumbles backwards as he's tackled by this freak in sunglasses (IN SPACE?) causing him to let go of his own communicator, it clattering to the ground nearby. ]

[And then there's the muffled sound of one Travis Touchdown doing some completely unnecessary wrestling move. Who knows what one, because it's off-screen, but it's potentially very painful, because it involves an elbow to the face.]

Travis's elbow collides with Rhys's Precious face and he lets out a yell, quickly muffling it as he clasp his organic hand over his now bleeding (oh god...) nose, simultaneously trying to push Travis off and away with his organic one. ]

( both communicators are snatched up from where they lie, cameras carefully angled away from whoever picks them up before being directed toward each other, black shadow claiming both before the feeds are cut. bucky crushes them both in his hands to keep anyone from playing witness further, letting the crumbs fall away from his hands as he stalks over and grabs travis but the collar and rips him away from rhys. he'd rushed to the dorms as soon as he realized it was getting out of hand. thankfully, the shouting alerts him to the specific unit. ​)

Hey! Back the fuck off! ( dragging his arm back, he tries to throw travis off balance toward the other side of the room. )

[ William clambers out of his bunk, swinging his legs to the ladder and leaping from there to the floor. He lands more or less steadily, his knees bent. He's barefoot, middle-aged, and lanky—and his gun is in his bunk. He rushes over to Rhys, attempting to pull him back from whoever the fuck this guy is. ] It's me, it's me. [ He says at Rhys' ear, his voice sounding overloud. He half-shoves, half-gentles Rhys behind him, trying to cut in between him and his attacker—but by that time someone else has intervened. ]

[ There's a moment in the scuffle where Rhys doesn't know what's going on, people are being pushed and pulled as sweet intervention finally saves his ass. 'Too little too late in his opinion' he thinks as he gets his bearings and scrambles to his feet, only using William to steady himself briefly before pulling away and shooting him an accusatory look. ]

You couldn't have done something before I got attacked?!

[ Said muffled as his hand is still up against his nose, trying (and failing) to stem the blood flow. ]

[Travis Touchdown is not very fuckin' pleased right this minute, but when he's thrown back, he snaps to focus the second he's caught his balance against the pods. He sizes Bucky up. What's this guy good at? Who can say, but he's got balls if he's willing to come in hot like this. William and Rhys may as well not exist in this moment. Travis only has eyes for a good fight.

Travis shifts into a position for a real fight, stance wide, shoulders strong. He may not have a beam katana, but a brawl hits a sweet spot, too.

He lifts his chin, gives a little jerk of a nod.]

Your turn, asshole.

[Fists up.]

( it's a quick action, whipping out his own communicator and sending claire an audio reply, but his eyes are on travis the whole time as he steps away from rhys, knowing he's now been secured by someone else.

the gloves are on, his vibranium left arm covered by his jacket as well, masking any abnormality. normally he might try and defuse the situation, but travis already challenged him on the public post blindly. this sort of attitude will be trouble if it isn't reigned in. his stance widens, but he doesn't bother throwing up his fists, doesn't need to with the serum improving his reflexes. )

[Wouldn't be the first time, but Travis has to admit, it does sting. He been out of the game that long, that he no longer has random mooks and important people alike pausing after meeting his eye?

But he's never doubted his skills. Never needed a warm-up or a comeback or any of that shit, he just strikes again whenever he damn well pleases.

Travis rushes Bucky to grapple. He'll flip him, if he can. Pile-drive him into the ground.]

( bucky doesn't bother answering, knowing and understanding the sentiment too, in his own way. but that will never change, not unless he parades about with his metal arm in plain view, but he has no intention of doing so today.

standing forward against the balls of his feet, he counters the grapple with the force of his own weight, 250 pounds more than sufficient from the looks of the guy's build. throwing his right leg across past his left while using travis' rush to keep his balance, he swipes back with his heel, hooking against travis' angle with the intent to thrown him to the ground. )

[ He shuffles Rhys away from the incipient brawl, motions to him to take a seat on one of the lower bunks. ] You fucking picked a fight. [ He says, with the peculiar calm that comes as an adrenaline rush subsides. He looks the other man up and down, focusing on the blood but observing his posture, the lay of his limbs. ] That's what that whole post was about.

You think it's broken? [ There's an edge to his voice, concerned. ] Anything else hurt?

[ Slowly, in an attempt to not get more blood on his shirt (uuuhg his shirt) moves his hand upwards to gingerly touch the bridge of his nose, wincing at just the brush of his own fingers. ]

[ Spoken loudly over Williams shoulder, directed at Travis ]

Okay, okay. [ He puts a hand on Rhys' shoulder—not gripping it, but steady enough to shove him back down if he tries to get to his feet. ] Lean forward. Stop touching it. Don't provoke the guy who broke it.

[You guys, she was just trying to enjoy her time and socialize and now here she is prepared to treat a possibly broken nose. And worse, when she arrives? William is there. Claire clearly pauses upon seeing him, but that's a good amount of blood on Rhys and also what the fuck is going on between Rhys II and James but okay. Rhys I, she can help.]

Rhys. [William. He just gets a nod.] Let me see your face.

[Leaning forward is ideal, so Claire crouches to see how bad the damage is.]
